DIY: Halloween Art - The Floating Pumpkin

I found this great project on the web and for the life of me I can't remember where I saw it at (uggh.) It's such a fun an easy DIY project. I had a blast making it.

I love decorating for the holidays/seasons. And this idea is right up my alley. It’s so versatile you’re able to “change” it up depending on your mood etc. Think Christmas paper and a mini tree, the sky’s the limit.

Needed:

*Picture Frame: I used an 8×10 oval from Hobby Lobby - $15.99 1/2 off $7.99 // To make this cheaper use a frame that you already have around the house or one that you’ve “treasured” at Goodwill
* Styrofoam Pumpkins: $1.00 // Right now you can find Styrofoam pumpkins on sale everywhere
* Scrapbook Paper
* Sharp Knife (I used our bread knife) and your trusty side kick your
* Glue Gun

Directions:

* Put the patterned paper into your frame like you would put in a picture
* Cut your pumpkin in half, make sure to cut behind the stem. And
* Hot glue the pumpkin onto the glass.

I told you this was super easy and so “cau te”
