Who says you can’t recycle Valentines? The materials below (except for the candy) were all found around my house. All you truly need for a recycled Valentines is a little imagination.
Candy Jars
Supplies
Bottles with Caps: I used starbucks frappuccino bottles - however baby food jars work great to!
Material or Paper (Scrapbook paper, wrapping paper, newspaper, construction paper etc)
Ribbons
Scissors
Glue: I used tacky glue
Candy
Directions:
Make sure that you really (REALLY) wash out your bottles and caps. Throw them through the dishwasher to really sanitize them. Don’t forget to pull off the labels on the outside of the bottles. I used dish soap to remove any leftover glue. Once these are dry decorate the top of lid and fill your jar with Valentine’s candy. That’s all there is to it. How easy is that? These would make great gifts for teachers, coaches, family and friends.

Valentines Match-Ups
Supplies
Matchboxes: Make sure to remove all of the matches and save for a rainy day
Paper: Scrapbook paper, wrapping paper, newspaper, construction paper etc
Ribbons
Scissors
Glue: I used tacky glue
Candy
Directions:
Empty out the matches from the matchboxes and save these for later uses. Cut your paper to wrap around the matchbox and glue in place. Then decorate and fill with candy!
