reveal the momarazzi

As the self-appointed picture-taker, we are rarely in our own photos. We may capture every special moment or event with diligence and thoughtfulness.

But, we do not always make being in our family photos a priority. We are going to host regular photography challenges in hopes that we will motivate you to try new things and improve your photography, perspective and/or quality of your overall photo collection.

So moms, whether you are typically the photographer in the family or not, we urge you to get in your photos!

At a minimum, most cameras have a timer where you can set it up, focus, click the button and within about 10 seconds, you can run to join the photo.  Some of you might have a tripod, remote, the works.  In this case, you just need to spend a few minutes staging a photo opp.  When all else fails, just ask someone else to take pics.

Here is one of me and my daughter after making fruit dip for a family party.  This was her first time ever licking the blender blades.

Have fun with this.  Take pictures daily so that you can capture the every day moments.

You can find us on Flickr.  Please leave a comment with a link to your images.  We would love to see your interpretation of our challenge.

Great concept.  Nothing is worst than returning from a vacation to have memories of everyone else, but no proof that you were even there (outside of the credit card statement).  I personally do not have enough pictures of my children and I.
