BIO

I am a thirty-something former marketer, future teacher who has the sweetest husband ever, Thad.  I’m also a proud mom of two beautiful daughters, Sofia (4) and Isabel (2). They are my blessings from God! I never lose sight of that fact, perhaps because I spent almost four years trying to get pregnant before finally undergoing invitro fertilization. I was beyond thrilled to have one healthy child and never imagined having another. But God had other plans and I got pregnant with my second daughter “au natural”. I tend to be such a planner, but I have learned to love surprises!

I like coffee, make-up, fashion, dancing, reading, history, and traveling.  I am a “Foodie;” I savor the experience of enjoying a fabulous meal. But beyond eating, I am passionate about cooking. Nothing gives me a sense of accomplishment like cooking does. I love when my husband loves his dinner. I love when my girls tell me “Mommy this is so yummy.” I love it when my friends smile while eating something I have made. I believe that cooking enables me to share the best part of myself…the caring, nurturing, and creative side of me.
